Black Magic Cake

My grandmother makes the most amazing chocolate cake from scratch. This is her recipe.  I have it written on a piece of paper but I wanted to have it somewhere else in case the paper got destroyed. 1 3/4 cup flour 2 cups sugar 1 tsp baking powder 2 tsp baking soda 2 tsp salt… Continue reading Black Magic Cake

Another DLE

I had a date last night. His name is Jason. It was a good time, talking about all kinds of stuff. He’s a lot like me in some ways and very different from me in others. He’s got a few piercings and about 8 hours of ink. We started at this little cafe three blocks… Continue reading Another DLE

Vicious

I met the new upstairs neighbor today. Well, I didn’t meet her husband yet. She seems very nice. But she has a dog, too. His name is Vicious. He’s a chihuahua/terrier mix. One would think that he’d be an annoying thing, but he and Reggie will get along okay, I think.

t’giving

Today was a very good day with friends, food, and pugs. Beth did an amazing dinner. She really went out of her way. Playing with the three pugs was a load of fun. I believe this will be the picture in my Christmas cards this year.

Parades

I love my family. Thanksgiving with them is stressful, though. My mom does do an amazing bird. But she won’t leave me alone and let me watch the parade. That’s what Thanksgiving morning is all about. This year, I’m heading out to have dinner with Beth, Paul, and the boys. Of course, Reggie is going… Continue reading Parades
