1 egg
1/2 cup sour milk
1/2 cup crisco
1 1/2 cups flour
1 tsp vanilla
1 tsp soda
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup cocoa
1/2 cup hot water
Put in bowl in order given. Do not mix until all ingredients are in bowl then beat well. Bake in moderate oven.
Filling for cup cakes
2 egg whites
1 tbsp flour
4 tbsp milk
3/4 cup crisco (softened)
2 tsp vanilla
2 cups powdered sugar
Beat and fill cup cakes.
