It’s funny how things sometimes fall together.
I had bought a pound cake at the store yesterday when I wasn’t feeling well. I also picked up a pint of raspberries.
Tonight I made a chocolate ganache for the cake, but it was a bit plain. And then I eyed the raspberries in the fridge. A light went off in my head.
The ganache is incredibly simple. It’s equal parts of three chocolates, bittersweet, semi-sweet, and milk chocolates. After melting it in a double boiler, I added some cream to it.
Hey, I didn’t say it was a light dessert, but it sure was tasty.
