Rhubarb

I drove to Worcester last night to help my friends Marc and Liz set up their blog for Barb, their rescued greyhound. She’s absolutely sweet and has found herself a great forever home.  My only complaint is that I think they should call her Barb, short for Rhubarb.

I had a dogwarming gift for them. It wasn’t so much for Barb as it was to annoy the shit out of Liz and Marc. I bought a medium sized Bad Cuz in red. Those things have really loud squeakers in them. Reggie has several, and he avoids them. Buddy is outright afraid of his.

Aside from doing that yesterday, I haven’t done much. Reggie and I went to Castle Island this morning and you can read more about that on his blog shortly. I also stopped at Walmart and Petco looking for a replacement to Mr. Purple Thing, Reggie’s favorite toy that is going to fall apart any moment now. That story is on his blog too.

In other news, my upstairs neighbors won’t be buying my washer and dryer now.  I don’t know what happened, but I do know that she hasn’t given me the money as promised. I’m not going to dick around with this. They went up on craigslist this morning.  I have a feeling that she’s getting evicted since my landlord is selling the house.

Tomorrow is a floating holiday for us. Technically, it’s Patriots day, but most of us see it as “avoid the marathon traffic” day. I may go into work. Then again, I may not. If I do, Reggie will be going with me. I should just stay home and pack. Today, I’m doing a mountain of laundry.

Okay… one picture from our trip to Castle Island this morning. Reggie was silly when we went out to the fisherman’s pier.
