Tires

We closed our office at 2:00 today. That was rather nice.

After I left the office, I went to get my hair cut. I look and feel much better. I’m still not thrilled with this shop, but it’s better than the last one. At least this barber spoke English.

As I was driving home, a guy tried to pull out in front of me, and I hit a little curb. All of the sudden, my tire was flat. I had to change my own tire. I felt so butch doing that. It’s a good reminder why one should always carry a cell phone and valid AAA card. I had neither one of those today. Its time to renew the AAA card.

When I got home, I dug out the Sears gift card my uncle gave me and went to have new tires put on my car. That was $200 I wasn’t planning on spending, but I’m glad I had it tucked away. It was just a matter of going to the bank and cashing a check since I still don’t have a debit card.

On the way home, I stopped at Homo Depot to get a new full-length mirror. What kind of homo am I if I don’t have a full length mirror in my bathroom?

When I got home, I was greeted by an awful sight. Reggie had tipped over the trash can and then proceeded to shred a styrofoam container that had once contained mashed potatoes and mac&cheese from Boston Market. Then he pooped on the floor beside his pad. I swear, there are some days where he’s going to become a rug.

Tomorrow night, I’m going to a friend’s party in the south end. But that’s in the evening. My only daytime plans are to run a few errands and to put the Mass plates on my car. A little bit of a low-key afternoon and a nap are never a bad thing.

It’s Friday night, meaning it’s time for my shot. I’ve been doing this for almost three years now, and it still sucks. I miss having someone give it to me.
