Job Front

I just talked to one of the consultants from my former employer. He’s actually part of the project team that I’d be working for if I got the job. He thinks I have a really good shot at getting this. He tells me to stress these things and I’m almost guaranteed the job:

1. I’ve done Lotus Notes views and simple agents. I’m not a hardcore developer, but I know the development environment well.
2. I’ve used and managed LEI to shuttle data between Lotus Domino and Oracle.
3. I’ve done application support and requirements gathering.
4. I’ve done end-user training.
5. I’ve done application QA and system documentation
6. I did my internship doing safety planning.

And get this! If I do get the job, I’ll be doing a little bit of travel. It won’t be nearly as much as I did when I worked for IBM. But there may even be some international travel as well.

I’m feeling very optimistic about this.
