I’m sitting here watching It’s My Party, a 1995 movie about a guy who decides to end his life with dignity rather than waste away with AIDS. Bittersweet.
I’ve decided that if I ever face being another victim of AIDS, I’m going to do it the dignified way—wrapping up things with my family and friends nearby.
I know it’s kind of melodramatic, especially since I’ve not tested positive for AIDS. But I think we all fear it happening someday.
