Arrived… Finally

I’ve made it to my hotel in Scottsdale, and I’m utterly exhausted. Some cocktails could be in order, but perhaps some sun is what the doctor ordered. It’s gorgeous here. Absolutely gorgeous.

I’m in Seattle and heading to bed very shortly. I have to be up early. My flight is at ten, and I should be at the airport by 8:00. My flight was long, very long. The people on Alaska Airlines are very nice. The only complaint I had about my flight is that there is… Continue reading N569AS

via Seattle

I need to be in Phoenix first thing Monday morning for a work trip. The plan was for me to fly out last night but the weather prevented that from happening. Every major carrier has canceled every flight out of Washington DC, Boston, New York, Philadelphia, and points in between. Getting out of Boston was… Continue reading via Seattle

On Time… So Far

This storm is really hitting jetBlue’s call center and web site pretty hard. My flight is still showing as on-time, but it’s still very early. Lets see if I actually get to see the Grand Canyon tomorrow.

jetBlue is warning passengers of an impending snowstorm in the northeast this weekend. The last thing I need is for my flight to get canceled on Sunday night, meaning I’d miss my training class on Monday morning. When I saw that alert, my travel instinct told me this was a bad idea. So I started… Continue reading B6 419

Flight Changes Confirmed

According to the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review, jetBlue is canceling it’s non-stop flights between Boston and Pittsburgh as of March 5.  Reggie and I are flying that route on March 30. Being the proactive traveler, I called jetBlue reservations to get rebooked. The agent told me they weren’t canceling my flight. Either the Trib got it wrong,… Continue reading Cancelled… or Not?

Think I like JetBlue?

These are all of my travel plans for the next few months… and they’re all on the same airline—JetBlue. I just booked a trip home the weekend before Easter for Reggie and I. Yup, the little jet-set Pug is going to visit Mimi and Pappy for Easter. For the pre-Easter trip, get this… My airfare… Continue reading Think I like JetBlue?

Ready to Run

It’s Sunday morning, and I was up at 6:30. WTF? Well, I need to catch and 11:00 train, and it was easy to just turn on the alarm clock instead of setting another time. I was up and moving by 7:00. I have a really busy week ahead of me. Monday through Wednesday, I’m in… Continue reading Ready to Run

Extending NYC

When I got home from Beth and Paul’s on Sunday, Allison, my downstairs neighbor came out to see me. Her great aunt died, and she’s off to Chicago for a few days. She will be back Sunday night, but I’m leaving for New York on Sunday morning. This has caused me some heartburn. As a… Continue reading Extending NYC
