Tribute to bad design

This is frightening. We complain about some of the systems where I work, but none of them are THIS bad.

Training

I found out this morning that I’m going to a couple of Microsoft training classes for my DBA certification. By September, I should have my first round of classes done.

Testing…

It looks like my image upload is working again. Thank you, Paul! Ever since I upgraded ExpressionEngine to the latest version, I’d been unable to upload pictures. It looks like it’s working again. By the way, that’s Buddy, not Reggie in the picture.

We run a product at work called Business Objects Crystal Reports Server. It basically automates the delivery, distribution, execution, and viewing of reports that have been designed with Crystal Reports. Don’t get me wrong, I love my T43 because… Continue reading New Computer

Mike Likes Planes

I just registered a new domain… mikelikesplanes.com. It’ll take a few days to get it up and running.

I’ll have to write about that stretegy some day. Anyway, I wrote some code last night/today that is kind of cool.… Continue reading Carmine would be proud

Power Outage

This weekend has been decent.  I’ll write more later. The power cable on my iBook has been going south for a while, but i’ve been too cheap to replace it. If I suddenly go offline for a few days, you’ll know why. It’s on its last legs.. The replacements are $85 from Apple and the… Continue reading Power Outage
