Relapse

Have I mentioned lately that my boss is a really good guy? I went into him this morning and told him that I was having some health issues. My MS is acting up again. It’s the change in the seasons, I swear.  His first question was “Do you need to work from home for a… Continue reading Relapse

Thirty Five

In a few hours, my 35th birthday will arrive. Honestly, this one doesn’t feel like a big deal. 25 was hard for me. It’s the time in a gay man’s life where he’s no longer young and cute. 30 didn’t happen because I crossed the international date line on my way to Australia. 35…. well,… Continue reading Thirty Five

Australia

It’s really hard to believe that five years ago today, I was on a plane to Australia. It was the trip of a lifetime. I still have the suitcase I bought for the trip and haven’t used it since.

My old one died over the weekend. I spilled something sticky on it, and I have no idea what it is. All I… Continue reading Twofer Tuesday

Mmmm Coffee

I got my Cafe Express shipment today from Green Mountain Coffee. It had a box of Breakfast Blend and two boxes of Autumn Harvest. Mmmm… Coffee.

IHOP

Steve and I did an American classic this morning, eating at the International House of Pancakes, better known as IHOP. I know, I know… But it’s such an American thing to do.

Visitor

My friend Steve is here from London for the weekend. Friday night, watched the planes coming in while we ate fish and chips, American style. Yesterday, I cooked breakfast and then we drove up to Maine. That was fun. On the way to Ogunquit, we hit up the Stonewall Kitchen company store and cafe. I… Continue reading Visitor

Fan Favorite

Tonight is the Top Chef Reunion on Bravo. This is where they name the fan favorite. My money is on CJ, even though I still love Dale.
