Monday tends to be a busy day for me at work. I have two standing appointments, one is my 9:00 weekly one-on-one with my boss and the other is my 11:00 weekly project status update. My boss is out tomorrow, and two of my coworkers are at a conference this week. While it’s going to give me more work covering for my coworkers, it also means I won’t be getting slammed with stuff all day.
Don’t get me wrong, I have a ton of work to do. But it does mean that my week will have a very different pace and tone. Tuesday is a bit crazy with a doctor’s appointment and then lunch with a vendor, immediately followed by a product demo with a different vendor.
Today was fun. I drove out to Worcester to visit some friends who had a few friends over. I had my first experience playing a Wii. Bowling was awesome. Tennis wasn’t quite as much fun. We sat on the deck for a while, and I got the top of my head sunburned. That’s my own fault for declining the sunscreen.
