Last Night in Philly

I’m having a good time in Philly. The training has been really good. The class is a bit of a review, but there have been some really good basics that I needed to get. The class I have in three weeks will be the really good stuff. Last night, I met up with my friend… Continue reading Last Night in Philly

Philly Again

I just got an e-mail from the training coordinator from the company where I’m doing this week’s training class. My second class, scheduled for three weeks, has one student enrolled for Boston, me. There is a chance I will be coming back to Philly. This doesn’t exactly suck. This is a moblog entry.

Wednesday in Philly

I forgot how much I liked this city. And I forgot the phenomenon known as water ice. To the rest of the world outside of eastern PA, that’s basically an Italian ice/slush thing. There aren’t many Rita’s Italian Ice stores in New England. That’s on the agenda for tonight. I know there is one on… Continue reading Wednesday in Philly

Philly

I made it to Philly without incident. The woman who sat next to me from New Haven to Philly was very nice. She was showing me her soduko puzzles. I’m tempted to try that. I showed her pictures of Reggie. I went to a couple of places I used to frequent and had a few… Continue reading Philly

High Speed

I’m composing this message aboard Amtrak’s Acela train 2171 from Boston to Washington, DC. I shall be departing at Philadelphia’s 30th Street Station. Better yet, I’m sending the e-mail via the EV-DO card in my laptop. It’s moving the data about as fast as I am. My coworker says this shouldn’t work on the train.… Continue reading High Speed

Who killed JonBenet?

http://edition.cnn.com/2006/LAW/08/28/ramsey.arrest/ Let me see if I get this right? If I fly halfway across the world and then confess I killed some little girl ten years ago, the INS will pay for my business class ticket and escort back to the US? Fortunately for the federal coffers, I’m not the type who likes little girls.… Continue reading Who killed JonBenet?

Aiden James

A few months ago, I had heard of an artist named Aiden James on MySpace. I went to see him at the Burren in Cambridge. Aiden is terribly cute, and he’s a super sweet guy. We talked a while after his show, which I really enjoyed. Aiden is from Philly, and I’m hoping to meet… Continue reading Aiden James

Half day

I’m talking half a vacation day. First, some book shopping, then some laundry, and then the chiropractor. Today was insanely busy. I need some downtime now. This is a moblog entry.

Snuggle Pugs

While I was having a miserable night, Reggie was having a great time. More on Pauls’ blog. I’m so used to Reggie being at my feet at night. Every time I’d roll over, I’d panic because he wasn’t at my feet. I’ve learned to roll delicately as to not kick Reggie out of bed. So… Continue reading Snuggle Pugs

Missing…

I just met my new downstairs neighbor, Allison. She seems nice. And she has a dog. My apartment is so quiet now. I took Reggie out to Beth and Paul’s house. He’ll be out there for almost a week since I leave for Philly on Tuesday afternoon. While I’m missing him terribly, he’ll be biting… Continue reading Missing…
