I just finished my taxes. Well, the federal taxes were easy. I’m concerned about my state taxes. I lived in two different states and collected income from three different states. According to TurboTax, I owe the State of Rhode Island almost A$400 but can expect a refund of $87 from the Commonwealth of Massachussets. I think I’m going to file for an extension in both states and then get a professional to look at them.
This really shouldn’t be so darn complicated. Why is it?
