One up, one down

I got a call from Adam at Eliasson. The customer didn’t think I had the experience they wanted. I’m a little frustrated, but not entirely upset. I wasn’t thrilled with that opportunity. I’m really hoping that the folks at Leapfrog come through at Eaton Vance for me.

I’ve been talking to Meagan at TekSystems in Boston. She has an opportunity in Providence that might work for me. They want someone to manage SQL servers. It’s not DBA work, though. I passed their screening test, and she cleared my references. So now they want me to talk to the client. I talked to her account manager, and he asked about my moving situation. I told him that if I didn’t move quickly, I was going to lose my apartment.

Something has got to happen, and soon. If not, I’m going to crack up.
