How wrong, Paige

I’m currently reading Paige by Paige: A Year of Trading Spaces. It’s written by Paige Davis, the host of TLC’s Trading Spaces. She’s telling the story of being at Madison Square Garden to do a bunch of interviews on location at the Grammys. The excerpt is rather interesting:

As I was walking from one table to the next for another interview, I heard a man break down into tears because he was so excited to see me there. I was unbelievably flattered by the intensity of his emotions, but I was also surprised because Carlos, a DJ known as Lita to his radio fans, appears to be one of the least likely Trading Spaces fans imaginable. I’m not one to hold stereotypes, but people with bars pierced down the back of their neck, black gothic hair, and chains on all their clothing probably don’t typically watch TLC. That’s just a guess.

Wrong, Paige. There are a lot of us freaks who love your show. I’m one of them.
